Kalimate is a powdered form medication that is used to help removal of excess potassium in the intestines and help balance the level of potassium in the blood. It contains Calcium Polystyrene Sulfate that is always given to patients with kidney failure. Patients that have kidney problems or liver problems should refer to a doctor before taking Kalimate.
